Peas

Last week it was my nearly three year old who informed me she wanted "whole eating peas" and not "opening peas". We ventured to the garden to collect our supplies and she proceeded to munch.

Today on a pea hunt there were handfuls of spinach being eaten straight from the garden. But best of all it was my one year old who wandered back into the house with a pea in hand. He has discovered the joy of picking the peas out of the opened pods.

Let's get down to the nitty gritty of fashion retail! It's incredibly common to find that all clothing items you buy in fashion stores are at some point individually wrapped in soft plastics. Clothes are taken out of these packages for display in stores. But the waste is out the back, building up. Since early 2018, we've requested our brands send us stock free of plastic. Many of our brands have been enthusiastically on board with our decision, and we are continuing to push for further change.
