To Compost, or Not to Compost . . .
Sustainable Packaging Stage Two: Composting
To compost, or not to compost . . . That is the question.
So, I think it is ok for me to assume that our new packaging can indeed be recycled, after all its just paper. And thankfully it seems that in most areas in New Zealand paper is easily recycled. Alternatively it will make a nice little fire started in winter.
But for it to be the perfect Hoopla Kids solution to packaging I would like it to be able to skip the recycling bin and head straight for the garden compost heap or worm farm.
So its time for talk and thinking to end, and for this to be put into practice.
Meet our Hungry Bin - a haven for wonderful worms to munch through all that goodness that leaves the kitchen as scraps, the shredded paper from the office AND now the Hoopla Kids packaging.
